A final note! :)

Yes, I know this blog is poorly neglected, and I never really finished posting, but it's not 2010 anymore! :)

If you are interested in hearing more about this trip email me (forhisgloryhandiwork (at) gmail (dot) com), or come visit my other blog - What it Means to Love. Thanks! :)

Team Meeting

We had a team meeting this past Saturday (June 12). It was more of a ministry training meeting. We talked about traveling - passsports, what to pack, carry-ons, the train trip, etc. We also talked about the camps we will be doing, what we will be doing during those camps (the crafts, the dramas, the devotionals, the music, etc.) and who will be doing what. Later, Max, from True Hope Ukraine, (who we will be working with while we are over there) came and shared his testimony and about his ministry. He also shared about how horribly people with mental and physical disabilities are treated over in Ukraine. Max has been in the U.S. for a few months, and I think he is leaving to go back to Ukraine tomorrow. We have some great cooks on our team! We had a great lunch during the meeting - there was so much food, it was impssible to fit a little bit of everything on your plate, and it was all really really good!! We had leftovers for supper, but that was ok, because it was all so good! :-)

Brian and Renae, the team leaders, adopted a baby girl last year. Her name is Olivia. This is her in her walker. She loved being in there, as she has plenty of room to roll around! I took like 50 pictures of her, so it was hard to decide which ones to post. :-)

She is grabbing for my camera strap here.
